Shadow puppet plays
Every Saturday, Wang Weifang 1 p on a play with his friends in a small town near Xi’an. The audience can 2 h them, but they can’t see them. This is called shadow puppet play.

Have you ever seen some artists producing sugar paintings on the streets The artists cook the solid （固态的）sugar on a pot to get liquid（液态的）sugar. And then they use the liquid sugar to paint animals, flowers and so on. Many kids like these paintings. They can also ask the artists to paint some special pictures.
Sugar painting is very different from normal painting. First, since the hot liquid sugar could become solid if it cools, the painter has to paint the picture very quickly. Second, the painter has to paint a picture of an animal or other patterns without stops at one time. So, in order to do fine sugar art, the painter has to do some practice of normal painting at first. Third, many skills are required for sugar art and the painter needs training in working with sugar. Fourth, sometimes doing sugar arts may be dangerous because the painter needs to heat sugar to high temperatures.
