Drriinnggg! That's the sound children up and down the country do not want to hear—the alarm clock bell!
The school year has just started and children across the UK have to wake up bright and early to go to school.
However, Monkseaton School in northeast England has made a new school rule that her students can lie in for one more hour before they go to school.
Monkseaton School has been letting her pupils come into school an hour later than other schools.
The headmaster, Dr Paul Kelley, says that this rule helps students to listen more carefully in class.
He feels that children study better later on in the day and that a late start makes a big difference to their school life than an early one.
Dr Kelley told the BBC that "students don't work very well in the morning and their need to sleep more is natural and understandable."
This new way of teaching shows good results (结果). The school has already seen a drop in the number of pupils playing truant by 27%.
