Lisa is an American filmmaker and actress. She came to China three years ago to study Performance(表演) at Beijing Film Academy(学院). Last month, she moved to Japan to study Economics(经济学) at the University of Tokyo. On June 10th, she came back to the USA. She chatted with her parents about the cultural(文化) differences between the two countries.
“The people in both countries are very friendly to foreigners. But they have different cultures(文化). For example, when I spoke Chinese in China, the people there always showed surprise on their faces. But when I came to Japan, I found it was opposite(相反). Most local people there hoped I could talk with them in Japanese, though(尽管) I was not good at it,” she said.
